finally. almost a month after I bought the yarn they picked out.
Daughter's turned out wonderfully. I have a new yarn to love.
I was a little disappointed in Son's. It didn't weave like I'd hoped. But I chalk that up to using sock yarn that's meant to be, you know, used to make socks. It's still pretty and now I know what to expect from a non-solid sock yarn.
I used a half double stitch to make both of them. Daughter's was faster just because her yarn was a lot bulkier.
love.
