I love this nativity scene. mainly for its simplicity. It's only one piece with only Mary, Joseph and Jesus. I got it at Wal-mart a few years ago for $3. Everyone is white ... just like in the Bible. [snicker, snicker] it made it to the mantle for Christmas 2009.
interestingly enough, Joseph doesn't have his hand over his heart, as it appears at first glance. that's his left hand and it's on the right side of his chest. there's no heart on that side.
fair haired baby Jesus has his arms open and inviting again. I like that.
