Saturday, Daughter and I headed south to The Judson for Hockey Day AND a wedding shower. Daughter was pretty excited about the shower because she knew it meant she could wear her party dress AND drink punch.
Friday night we went to the store for snacks. She was VERY adamant about wanting pretzels and broccoli. OK, girl. You've got it.
The alumni won the game versus the all-stars!
The circle, song and prayer.
I'm a little disturbed at the coloring of the picture. I hope this doesn't mean I'll have to get a new camera soon.
two friends waiting on the step sing to start.
they are very enthusiastic clappers.
After lunch we headed to the gym to kill some time {and energy} before the shower. It was a great idea. These girls can run, jump, play, toss hula hoops, bear crawl, and kick and throw balls like you would not believe.
dressed and ready for the wedding shower. She was so excited about getting to dress up and participate with my friends.
FINALLY. she could eat.
Her favorite part was playing hot potato with a bouquet of flowers. Her least favorite part was falling out of a chair and onto her face when she refused to sit still. In hindsight, it probably wasn't fair of me to expect a three year old who girl didn't have a nap and had been playing nonstop for HOURS to act like an adult while I enjoyed time with my college friends, but overall she did well.
